Delhi 6 is indeed a movie with a message. Things I liked about the movie :
1. Black Monkey .. The dark side of oneself which if explored and allowed to take control will only create havoc. Let us no
2. Hindu-Muslim divide .. How easily can religious divide bring out the demon within the believers .. "Why can't we treat other fellow humans for being humans than anything else?"
3. Love .. The moment Roshan expressed his love for Bittu ... she gave up her plans to run away. "Express your love or you'll be left wanting"
4. Gobar .. really proved his point why he always preferred to take 2 coins instead of a 10 rupee note. The day he took the 10 rupee note he'll stop getting the 2 coins ... he got by allowing to be mocked at for being stupid. "How many of us lead a lesser life only to be greater species in the eyes of others?"
5. Police .. with great power comes great responsibility .. It's of no use showing of your power on the needy and destitute. Raising others lives will take us to next level. I must salute "Vijay Raaz" for the ease with which he melted into the character and also his brilliant dialogue delivery.

Aero India 2009, Bangalore
I like watching jets, their power, speed and acrobatics. I've always wanted to watch Republic day parade in New Delhi, where they showcase all the latest and best technologies India has. What could have a better opportunity for a person like me than the aero india 2009, Bangalore. So, I got in touch with a very close friend of mine who has similar craze about flying objects and decided to attend the same.
There were weekend tickets open for general public at Rs.800 and Rs.400. We decided to go on 14th February, Saturday(this day didn't hold much of a significance for me ... so much to celebrating singledom). We went for the 400 bucks tickets.
The place was open from 10 AM - 5 PM. We started late, so reached there about 10:20 and from the parking area we could see the acrobatics of some jet and it's thundering sound. With adrenaline rushing through our blood we virtually ran to the stands to have a closer view of jets. I felt the sitting arrangements were a bit mis-organized. The reasons are as follows:
1. The stands nearer to the run-way(from where one could have the best view of flying machines) had no shades. It was quite hot out there, with the sun shining bright.
2. The stands near the run-way was far off from the speakers, where one could hear of the details of the craft(it's history, it's make and model, who was aboard etc. etc.).
Earlier on we stood in the middle, close to the speakers but not in the shade. We got an idea of what was flying when, but were not satisfied; not been able to see the jets close enough.
So, we decided to get closer to the run-way. The morning show ended at about 12:30 PM. Someone told us that the next show was about to start at 3. There were also rumors that being a weekend they may start at 2.
We decided to quickly have our lunch at the crowded food-courts and come back to take the closest possible place to the runway.
We got seated at the 3rd row at around 1 PM. We had to wait till 2:30 PM till the first jet took off to show its prowess.
Till 4:30 we had non-stop entertainment .. it was too good. I felt not being a pilot .. more importantly a fighter pilot .. with so much control over the so powerful machine.
The highlight of the entire show was acrobatics shown by the Surya Kiran Aerobatics team of six jets. Their best one was when all them flew together and suddenly moved outwards in different directions.
The show put up by HAL Dhruv helicopters was also very commendable.
Here is a list of the flying machines present there :
1. F 18 Super Hornet(Boeing)
2. F-16IN Super Viper
3. Eurofighter Typhoon
4. Sukhoi 30
5. HAL HJT-16 Kiran(used by the Surya Kiran team)
6. Dhruv Helicopters(developed by HAL)
